This is a morning image taken in the wetlands of Central Florida.
Sandhill Cranes Feeding (BW)
Sandhill Crane (Grus canadenis) I found this pair of Sandhills at the Wetlands. They were so busy eating I decided to make an artistic shot of the tall Cranes in an unusual pose. Shot took forever.
Westminster Flowers - 008 Hibiscus (B&W)
The Hibiscus flower and leaves have been made into teas and liquid extracts for various medicinal purposes. Today research is being done into its properties to reduce blood pressure and cholesterol.

Traveling over to Mosquito lagoon for sunrise always brings some excitement. I felt the old tree with the sun rising through the morning fog with the flat fisherman on the lagoon tells the story.

I found the dead oak early in the morning fog on a morning walk. I liked the small white wild flowers in contrast.

The single oak in a field was something i was trying to find for some time. The wild flowers growing in the field in front of the oak made the image.

Fall Infrared Patterns - (BW)
This is an image that is made to look as if it was taken as an Infraread image. It actually is the Infrared look you can achieve with lightroom. The tree is actually a fall bright yellow tree.

I was traveling down the mountain from my home in Highlands, NC. As I turned the corner I saw the light passing through the morning fog and trees. I had to stop and take the image.
Full Moon (BW)
I took this image of the full moon in my back yard with the new 1 Nikkor 70-300 mm lens. The equivalent is 800 mm on the V2 camera. I couldn't believe the rugged edges of creators on the edge of the moon.
