I decided to build a unique boat for my wife. (Diane) It had to be so special she would want to have friends over for a sunset cruse, conversation and a glass of wine. Here is the story of "Aye Dock." Aye Dock was given to the Veterans as a donation and sold at auction in 2018.

    The steering mechanism in place with the tiller for the rudder in the rear.
    The tiller is now attached to the straight shaft steering mechanism. I had to loop it because that is the shortest available.
    Once again close friends are more valuable than gold. Mike was an electrical engineer and could not wait to be involved with the project. Here we are solving one of the many problems with the electrical system. We had to make sure all the safety precautions would work.
