"AYE DOCK" Boat Build

I decided to build a unique boat for my wife. (Diane) It had to be so special she would want to have friends over for a sunset cruse, conversation and a glass of wine. Here is the story of "Aye Dock." Aye Dock was given to the Veterans as a donation and sold at auction in 2018.

    The little steering wheel was made in Venice, Italy. My grand kids were now wanting to steer the boar.
    The final and finished steering console before mounting into the boat. I decided to just use teak oil on the interior wood rather than painting.
    The next problem to solve was how to steer the boat with a tiller for the rudder and a straight shaft to move it. Tillers move in an arch and the steering shaft move in a straight line not a arch. Here is my invention to solve the problem.
