    American Alligator (Alligator mississippiensis) This is the American Alligator that lives in marshes and wetlands through out South Eastern United States. A member of the Crocodilia group of reptiles that have remained unchanged for some 180 to 200 million years. This Alligator was checking me out across the lake in the Wetlands Park.

A member of the Crocodilia group of reptiles that have remained unchanged for some 180 to 200 million years. I came on this Gator in the Wetlands Park in the late morning hours. He was BIG! This image was taken while laying on my stomach. I had a long lens.

I almost have my big eye image.
