This is the beautiful St. Patrick's Cathedral in Dublin, Ireland. A private tour of the Cathedral was part of the Tauck Tour. The cathedral is 800 years old and is the largest cathedral in Ireland.
I have always been fanscinated with what the rector or pastor sees from the pulpit on Sunday morning. I am sure Reverend Trees sees the back of the sancutrary clearer than this image. I only had my monopod with me but would like to take the image again on a tripod properly.
The plans for the church were funished by John H. Sear. The design was after the Trinity Church in New York which was shaped like a cross.
