After lunch on the way back to Dromoland Castle we stopped at the Hole of Sorrows. This is a portal tomb in the Burren, County Clare, Ireland. It dates back to the Neolithic period possibly between 4200 BC and 2900 BC.

It dates to the 14th or 15th century and is one of three oldest surviving Gaelic harps. This is the harp that is found on the Guinness Logo.

This is the Vulcan monument in Birmingham, AL. I had the chance to make the image on a recent visit. It was REALLY cold that evening and the fog was settling over the city.

The Cincinnati Society was founded in 1783 by the offices of the Continental Army. The name Cincinnati comes from a hero of the Roman republic who refused rewards for serving the nation. George Washington was president of the society from 1783 until his death in 1799. The society has beem headquarded in the Anderson House since 1938.
