This is the St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Chruch in Ballyvaughan, Ireland. I took a walk up the street where we were having lunch and found this beautiful church. The church was rebuilt in 1866 on the sight of older chruch destroyed by storms in 1862,
On our way back to the Dromoland Castle we stopped for lunch in the town of Ballyvaughan, Ireland. This is the road entering the town.
The first visit from Dromoland Castle was the trip to the Cliffs of Moher. The name Cliffs of Moher means "runined fort". Currently no trace of the 1st century fort are visible.
